Hybrid heat pump questions
Who qualifies for heat-pump incentives?
Energize CT incentives are for residential Eversource and UI electric customers whose new heat pump replaces or properly integrates with oil, propane, natural-gas or electric-resistance heat, using qualifying equipment installed by a contractor in the Energize CT Heat Pump Installer Network. Celco participates. The $650 NEHPA instant incentive applies to qualifying cold-climate outdoor units bought through a participating distributor. Celco can help review your situation.
What is a hybrid system?
A hybrid system pairs an electric heat pump with existing backup heat, automatically balancing comfort, efficiency and outdoor conditions.
Do you help with incentive paperwork?
Yes. Celco helps customers navigate Energize CT paperwork, and the NEHPA instant incentive is applied at purchase through a participating distributor. Final approval is determined by each program.
